Portrait Study
Acrylic 20" x 26" I am on a mission to figure out how to do portraits in a painterly fashion. I am trying to loosen up my brush work and at the same time figure out how to make it to resemble the model. This time my friend, Kat, was the victim. I am sorry, Kat. This is a learning process. My next subject will be Shannon Wooten, the daughter of my friend, Beth. I have a love-hate relationship when it comes to painting portraits, but the challenge keeps me going.
