I wanted to do this painting because there is a lesson here. Look how different they are, unique in every way, standing there in complete harmony. Why is that? It is because no one can teach them to be otherwise. That is only for humans. Only humans can be brainwashed, taught to discriminate, to hate, to fear, and to kill each other. If we could only evolve beyond this human trait and learn to live and let live, only then will we get a glimpse of heaven on earth or a facsimile thereof.
